The ocean and beaches of Maui are inviting and a big draw for many visitors but for your own safety it is important that you follow posted signs and warnings when swimming at Kaanapali Beach, and other public beaches throughout the island. The ocean fronting the Kaanapali Ocean Inn is relatively calm; however there are no lifeguards on duty.
